I am a post.doc. at the Department of Mathematical Modelling, and I am proud to present the final version of my Ph.D. thesis. The thesis consists of over 300 pages and all of my papers are included as appendices. The title is The Radon Transform - Theory and Implementation. Press here to download

Papers

I have made 12 reports and 9 papers during my Ph.D. study and some newer - some are available here.

EUSIPCO 94: Fast detection of hyperbolas in seismic CMP-gathers

Use generalized Radon and generalized Hough transform for detection of hyperbolas in seismic images.

ICASSP 96: Using the Generalized Radon Transform for Detection of Curves in Noisy Images (abstract)

About detection of curves in noisy image using generalized Radon transformation.

INVERSE METHODS: Mean Field Reconstruction with Snaky Edge Hints.

Use mean field annealing to estimate edges and image values in PET images using heavy priors.

Reconstruction of PET images.

Report about reconstruction of PET images (read the thesis instead).

IEEE Medical Imaging Conference 1995: Noise contributions in PET images (an abstract is also available).

Conference paper about modelling noise in PET images.

Report about RadonAna

Generation of sinograms and images from single geometrical figures.

NORSIG 96: Detection of Lines with Wiggles using the Radon Transform.

A paper about the influence of random fluctuations in the positions of pixels on lines when trying to detect line parameters.

IEEE Transactions on Nuclear Science: Noise contributions in PET images (an abstract is also available).

A journal paper about modelling the noise in reconstructed PET images.

IIW96: Brain Mapping by Positron Emission Tomography.

An overview paper of PET principles and methods for reconstruction of images.

IEEE Medical Imaging Conference 1996: A very fast implementation of 2D Iterative Reconstruction Algorithms (an expanded abstract is also available).

About a fast way to implement 2D iterative reconstruction algorithms. Note that a package is coming up that uses 1/8 of the memory compared to the one mentioned in the paper (but is slower).

IEEE Transactions on Image Processing Dec 96 1651-1661: Fast Curve Estimation Using Pre-Conditioned Generalized Radon Transform. An abstract is also available).

A journal paper about generalized Radon and Hough transform applied for detection of hyperbolas in seismic images.

Surface Models for Brain Imaging.

To appear in proceedings of the Interdisciplinary Inversion Workshop 5, Arhus University, September 24 1997.

A paper about active surfaces for capturing 3D objects from volumes.

How many Principal Components.

NeuroImage Vol 5, number 4, May 1997, S474. Proceedings of the THIRD INTERNATIONAL CONFERENCE ON FUNCTIONAL MAPPING OF THE HUMAN BRAIN, Copenhagen May 1997.

Comparison of two convolution models for fMRI time series.

NeuroImage Vol 5, number 4, May 1997 S473. Proceedings of the THIRD INTERNATIONAL CONFERENCE ON FUNCTIONAL MAPPING OF THE HUMAN BRAIN, Copenhagen May 1997.
