am a post.doc. at the Department of Mathematical Modelling, and I
am proud to present the final version of my Ph.D. thesis. The thesis
consists of over 300 pages and all of my papers are included as

algorithms. Note that a package is coming up that uses 1/8 of the memory
compared to the one mentioned in the paper
(but is slower).
